Fiber, CO2, and UV, matched to the material
The mark is part of the surface
Overview
Laser coding makes sense when the mark has to survive washdown, abrasion, or a long shelf life, and when you want the consumables bill to stop.
The right wavelength depends on the material. Fiber marks metals and hard plastics. CO2 marks glass, board, and many films. UV marks heat-sensitive plastics without scorching them. Linx builds all three, and we confirm the choice with a sample on your own pack.
Models
Wattage and lens are chosen after a sample test, so we do not list them here.
