Overview

What it does.

Continuous inkjet is the workhorse of a production line. The printhead sits off the product and jets ink at line speed, so curved bottles, cans, cables, and jars all take a clean code without stopping the conveyor.

Aliment supplies the current Linx 9800 series, including the 9840 Midi and the 9840 Spectrum for pigmented inks, and supports the 8920 and 7900 printers already running on Indian lines. If you run a 5900, which Linx no longer makes, we keep it printing and plan the move to a current model.

Up to 6 lines, character height 1.8 to 20 mm, up to 7.28 m/s.
10-inch colour touchscreen with Linx PrinterNet.
Easi-Change service module, up to 24 months on dye inks.

Linx 7900 and 7900 Spectrum

Up to 5 lines, print height 1.1 to 13.8 mm, up to 8.41 m/s.
Up to 18 months or 9,000 hours between services.
Spectrum version runs pigmented ink for dark rubber, plastic, and cable.

Support only

Discontinued by Linx. New lines should start on a current model.
